What we do is not just a job. We grew up climbing trees as little kids, building tree houses, staring up till our necks hurt in awe of their beauty. We are a group passionate individuals who believe trees are needed for our comfort and protection, but also need to be maintained for safety. Becoming an arborist wasn’t a choice for us, it was a calling!!! The great outdoors, the sunshine, seeing greenery in its beauty and being able to manage it in an urban environment so it is safe for the public … is what we live for. If you remember the book, “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein, you would understand the love the tree in his book had for the little boy. That’s the kind of love we have for greenery.  Here is our favorite line from the book after the tree had given everything it had to the little boy, all she had left was her stump ...

“I don’t need very much now”, said the boy, “just a quiet place to sit and rest. I am tired”.
“Well”, said the tree, straightening herself up as much as she could, “well an old stump is good for sitting and resting.”
Come, Boy, sit down.
Sit down and rest.”
And the boy did.
